Day 1:
Hanoi Arrival – Night Train To Sapa
You will be greeted at the airport and transferred to downtown area. The rest of the day is yours to spend. Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, is a city of lakes, shaded boulevards, and verdant public parks. In the evening, your guide and your bus will pick you up again and transfer you to the railway station to catch the night train to Sapa. We will stay overnight on the train.
Day 2:
Lao Cai –Lao Chai –Tavan –Giang Ta Chai Village (B/L/D)
Between 5:30 AM – 6:30 AM, you will be picked up at Lao Cai train station by our staff then be driven to Sapa by bus. From 7:00 – 8:00 PM, we can have breakfast and relax at the hotel. If the hotel has an available room, you can check in early. If not, you may go on the tour first. From 9:00 – 9:30 AM, your guide will take you to visit the villages of the H’mong and Dzay People which are known as Lao Chai, Ta Van, and Giang Ta Chai villages. You will start trekking from the hotel to Lao Chai village with a distance of about 12 km. You may have lunch on the way or with a family of locals. When you finish trekking at the end of the village, our bus will pick you up at 5:00 PM and take you back to Sapa. We will have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 3:
Sapa- Cat Cat Village – Ha Noi (Meals: B/L/D)
At 7:00 AM, we will have breakfast. Then from 9:00 AM – 9:30 AM, your guide will take you to visit a village of Black H’mong people named Cat Cat Village. You have the chance to visit a waterfall and the hydroelectric power station built by the French. Be warned that this activity will take 2 hours of walking up and down to the valley. From 12:30 -1:00:PM, we say good bye to Sapa town by having lunch at a restaurant. You will have free time in Sapa town until it is time for your transfer. From 4:30 PM – 5:00: PM, we will transfer you from the hotel to Lao Cai train station. We will have dinner at the restaurant near the train station before getting on the night train to go back to Hanoi.

Day 4:
Hanoi – Halong Bay (B/L/D) –Dragon Gold Cruise
Arrive in Hanoi early in the morning at approximately 4:30 – 5:00 AM. Our bus and staff will pick you up at the train station and drive you to the hotel in Hanoi for breakfast. However, we will not be checking in. From 7:45 AM – 8:30 AM, you will meet up with your tour guide then go to Ha Long Bay. You will have a 20-minute break en route to stretch your legs. You will disembark at the harbor and board the Dragon Cruise by a tender. Enjoy a welcome drink while you receive the cruise briefing. Savor lunch on board as the cruise takes you to visit the amazing Sung Sot cave which has millions of surprising stalactites and stalagmites. You may also stop at Soi Sim island or Titop Island for an hour of swimming and sunbathing. As we drop anchor in the calm waters, relax on the sundeck at sunset as you taste some local wine and fruits. You may even join a cooking session on board with our chef, making some special dishes with his suggested recipes. At 7:00 PM, we’ll have dinner on board. You can have fun with karaoke or try your luck with squid fishing. We’ll be staying overnight on board in the middle of Ha Long Bay.

Day 5:
Halong Bay – Hanoi (B/L)
At 7:00 AM, we will enjoy a new day with complimentary tea and coffee. You will have breakfast on board before doing other activities. We’ll guide you as you go kayaking since that is the best way to explore the true beauty of Ha Long Bay. As the boat sails back towards the harbor, you may check out of your cabin. Be sure, however, to photograph wonderful views of Ha Long while sailing back to the harbor. At 11:00 AM, you’ll be able to savor lunch on board before leaving Dragon Gold Cruise. At 12:30 PM, we say goodbye to Ha Long Bay before returning to Hanoi. We will be able to have a short stop en route to stretch your legs. At 5:30 PM, you will be dropped off at your hotel for your overnight stay in Hanoi.

Day 6:
Hanoi – Departure (B/L)
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel. You will have free time to explore Hanoi by yourself until the driver takes you directly to the airport for your flight.
