Day 1:
Beijing
Upon arriving at Beijing airport, our tour representative will greet you and arrange for your transportation to the hotel, allowing you your very fist chance to see and experience China.
Day 2:
Beijing
Today is a free day. You can explore the city at your own pace or join our popular optional programs. Optional Program 1: Tiananmen Square & Forbidden City with Lunch Tour Tiananmen Square which is noted as the largest public square in the world and then the Imperial Palace in the Forbidden City, which was the Chinese Imperial Palace from the Ming dynasty to the end of the Qing dynasty. For almost 500 years, it served as the home of emperors and their households as well as the ceremonial and political center of Chinese government. Optional Program 2: Peking Duck Dinner Banquet with Wine

Day 3:
Beijing
The Great Wall of China is one of the seven greatest man-made wonders of the world and is the focal point of China. You will hike along the Great Wall Juyongguan Pass and spend some free time on your own on the wall. We will stop at a Jade Museum to learn the history of Jade. In Chinese, Jade is pronounced as ‘Yu’, and it has a history in China for at least four thousand years. Later, visit a traditional Chinese Medicine Center after we return to the city. Day 4:
Beijing – Xi’an
Spend the morning at leisure. You are welcome to join our optional tour in the morning. Optional Program: Temple of Heaven and Rickshaw Tour with Lunch Temple of Heaven was a place for emperors to worship the Heaven in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. First built in 1420, it is the largest and most representative existing place among Chinese ancient sacrificial buildings. Hutongs are narrow alleyways formed by joining together courtyard residence, also are a glimpse – fast disappearing – of what the city used to look like before the skyscrapers started munching the skyline. Fly to Xi’an in the afternoon. The tour guide will meet you at the airport and drive you back to the hotel.

Day 5:
Xian
Today is another free day at leisure. You are welcome to join our optional tours in ancient city Xi’an. Optional Program 1: Terra Cotta Warriors Museum, Biking on Ancient City Wall with Lunch Witness the famous “Terra Cotta Warriors”. The serendipitous discovery of the Terra Cotta Warriors in 1974 ranks as one of the world’s most important recent archaeological finds. Three excavation pits have been opened to the public with a fourth underway. Spend some time admiring the fine troops, horses, and carriages in battle formation. Next, you’ll head to the Terra Cotta Replication Factory that remade terracotta soldiers. After lunch, the motor coach takes us back inside city limits to visit the Ancient City Wall, which represents one of the oldest, largest, and best preserved Chinese city walls. Day 6:
Xi’an – Shanghai – Suzhou
Fly to Shanghai in the morning. Then drive to Suzhou. This place, which dates back to 514 BC, is sometimes called the “Venice of the East”. Visit Shan Tang Street which has always been regarded as the first name of Suzhou ancient streets. It has a long history of about 1100 years, its layout and architecture best represent the characteristics of Suzhou’s old alleys, and it has connections to many ancient Chinese celebrities and anecdotes. Optional Program: Boat ride on the Grand Canal with a walk around the local neighborhood

Day 7:
Suzhou – Wuxi
Today you will visit the Lingering Garden and Silk Spinning Factory. The Lingering Garden is a renowned classical Chinese garden and is recognized with other classical Suzhou gardens as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. China is known for its silk, so for sure we will take you to the Silk Spinning Factory. Then, we’ll drive to Wuxi, an ancient city richly endowed with natural attractions due to its pleasantly warm and moist climate. Wuxi boasts a reputation for being the ‘Land of Fish and Rice’. Enjoy the scenery as we pass by Lake Tai which is the third largest freshwater lake in China. Visit Teapot Museum and Nanchang Street– the trendy pedestrian streets composed of both ancient and modern architecture.

Day 8:
Wuxi – Hangzhou
This morning, visit one of the largest freshwater pearl exhibitions in the country. After lunch, travel by coach to Hangzhou. Take a small boat ride to the West Lake which reveals the ethereal beauty of Hangzhou’s willow-draped islands. You will admire Su Causeway. It was built in the fifth year of Yuanyou Period in the Northern Song Dynasty (1090) and has evolved since then. At that time, Su Shi (Dongpo), a poet known as perfect in Hangzhou Prefecture, had the West Lake dredged and built the Su Causeway by dredged silt. Hangzhou hosted The G20 summit in September 2016

Day 9:
Hangzhou – Shanghai
After a stop at the Green Tea Village, we will then drive you to Shanghai to visit The Bund. Shanghai is divided by the Huang Pu River into eastern and western sections. Modern mega high rises are seen on the eastern side while traditional European-style architecture may be seen on the western side. The Bund is a five-block riverfront promenade with many of Shanghai’s banks and trading houses. Optional Program: Shanghai Lujiazui FTDZ & Huang Pu River Cruise

Day 10:
Shanghai
Today is the last day in Shanghai and you have a free day. You are welcome to join our optional tours. Optional Program 1: Shanghai day tour with Maglev Train Experience Sight-see Shanghai’s highlights, shop for local souvenirs & drop by the gift bazaar where you can do some last-minute shopping. Continue to modern Xintiandi. Also, you will have the chance to experience Maglev Train which can reach almost 390KM per hour. Optional Program 2: Permanent Show “ERA – Intersection of Time” The show “ERA” in Shanghai has become one of the most popular evening entertainments for tourists in the city which integrates traditional love story with modern performing art. ERA consists of many exciting elements including acrobatics, dances, dramas, music, martial arts, etc.

Day 11:
Shanghai-Hometown
