Cairo Arrival
 
Welcome to Cairo! Upon arrival we’ll greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel by private A/C car.
Giza Pyramid Tour
 
Today you’ll cross one of the Seven Wonders of the World off your bucket list with a trip to the Giza Pyramids. Travel down into Giza to see the towering Great Pyramids Of Giza – Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinos – as well as the Valley Temple where the priests mummified the dead body of King Chephren who built the second pyramid at Giza Platue. From here you’ll also get to see the Sphinx – the legendary guardian that stands over the huge funeral complex with its lion body and the head of king Chephren. This is one of the best places to take photos of the Pyramids. Lunch is included in between visits at a local restaurant (drinks not included). Continue your day tour to Sakkara, the Step Pyramid or Zoser Pyramid, which was an important part in the process of the pyramid evolution. It is considered the first stone structure in the world. Then drive to Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt, where the colossal statue of Ramses II and the great Alabaster Sphinx stand. This city dates back to 3100 B.C. After a long day through Egyptian history we’ll transfer you back to your hotel. Optional Activity: Nile Dinner Cruise: $40.00/person

Cairo – Alexandria
 
Enjoy another day trip from Cairo to Alexandria, one of the most famous ancient cities in the world. Here we’ll visit the Roman Theater, which features up to 800 marble seats, galleries, mosaic flooring, a pleasure garden, Roman Villas and baths. From here we’ll visit Pompey’s Pillar, followed by the Catacomb of Kom El-Shoqafa. This three level tomb features the Triclinium where relatives used to sit on stone benches to feast before burying their dead. Inside, we’ll see the 2nd Century AD statues of Sobec and Anubis wearing Roman Armor. Next we’ll visit the Elsawary, Montaza Garden, Alexandria Library, Qaytbay Citadel, amd El Mursi Abu Elabas. We’ll spend the night in Alexandria.

Alexandria – Cairo
 
In the morning we’ll return to Cairo, where we’ll visit the Egyptian Museum of antiquities. On display is a rare collection of 5000 years of art the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated to the Tutankhamen collection of treasures, gold, and jewelry, as it was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before it was discovered in the 1920s when his tomb was excavated. Then visit one of the oldest parts of Cairo, including the Church of Abu-Sergah and St. Berbara, as well as the Hanging Church and old Jewish Ben Ezra Synagogue.
