Day 1-2: Athens

The first stop on our itinerary is Athens, where we recommend spending at least two days. The Acropolis, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is the most famous attraction in Athens and should not be missed. Here, you can explore the ancient ruins of the Parthenon and other historic landmarks that date back to the 5th century BC. After visiting the Acropolis, we suggest stopping by the Acropolis Museum, which houses an impressive collection of artifacts from the ancient city.

Next, take a walk through the streets of Plaka, one of the oldest neighborhoods in Athens. Here, you can explore the narrow alleyways and shops selling traditional Greek souvenirs. For dinner, head to Monastiraki, a neighborhood known for its street food and nightlife. Here, you can try traditional Greek dishes such as souvlaki and moussaka and enjoy some live music or dance performances.

Day 3-4: Mykonos

After two days in Athens, it’s time to take a ferry to Mykonos, a popular Greek island known for its beaches, nightlife, and stunning views. We recommend spending at least two days here to explore all that the island has to offer. Start your day by relaxing on one of the island’s beautiful beaches, such as Paradise Beach or Super Paradise Beach. Afterward, head to Mykonos Town to explore the famous windmills and Little Venice, two of the island’s most iconic landmarks.

In the evening, experience Mykonos’ vibrant nightlife. The island is known for its clubs and bars, with many of them staying open until the early hours of the morning. For a more low-key evening, take a stroll through the streets of Mykonos Town and enjoy some delicious Greek cuisine at one of the many restaurants.

Day 5-7: Santorini

The final stop on our itinerary is Santorini, a volcanic island known for its white-washed buildings and stunning sunsets. Take a ferry from Mykonos to Santorini, which takes around 2-3 hours. We recommend spending at least three days on the island to fully experience its beauty.

Begin your exploration of Santorini by visiting the picturesque villages of Oia and Fira. These villages are famous for their stunning views of the Aegean Sea, white-washed buildings, and blue-domed churches. Be sure to take in the famous Santorini sunset from the caldera, which is a natural bay formed by a volcanic eruption thousands of years ago.

During your time on the island, take a trip to the ancient ruins of Akrotiri, which is often referred to as the Greek Pompeii. Here, you can explore the remains of a Bronze Age settlement that was destroyed by a volcanic eruption.

Of course, no trip to Santorini would be complete without spending some time on the island’s beaches. We recommend visiting Red Beach, which is famous for its red cliffs and crystal-clear waters.
