Hassan II Mosque

Al-Haram Mosque

Al Haram is one of the largest and oldest mosques in the world, with a total size of 400,800 square metres. The mosque, which is located in Mecca, has both indoor and outdoor prayer areas that can comfortably hold up to 2 million worshippers. The mosque surrounds one of the holiest sites, The Kaaba, and hosts the world’s biggest crowds during the annual Hajj trip to Mecca. Al- Nabawi Mosque, Medina, Saudia Arabia

Al Masjid an-Nabawi, the third mosque built in the history of Islam, is located in the Saudi Arabian city of Medina and is currently one of the biggest mosques in the world. The Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) constructed the mosque, which is always open. Al- Aqsa Mosque, Jerusalem

Al-Aqsa Mosque, one of the most stunning mosques in the world, is situated in Jerusalem’s Old City. The mosque is all the more lovely because of the Dome of the Rock, four minarets, and seventeen gates that make up the complete compound. A massive golden dome and sparkling turquoise mosaic tiles are used in the construction of the mosque’s enormous “Dome of the Rock.” The mosque offers massive Friday services with thousands of attendees as well as everyday prayers. According to the belief, Muhammad was brought here during the Night Journey from the Al Haram Mosque in Mecca before continuing on to heaven.

Shah Faisal Mosque, Islamabad

The fourth largest mosque in the world and the most beautiful mosque in southern Asia are both found in Islamabad, on the slopes of the Margalla Hills. With four 260-foot-tall minarets and an eight-sided shell-shaped roof, this stunning mosque has modern architecture. Its prayer hall can hold up to 10,000 worshippers at once. It is a well-known mosque and is regarded as a key element of Islamic architecture worldwide.

Suleymaniye Mosque, Istanbul

Suleymaniye Mosque, the second-largest and one of the most stunning mosques in the world, is situated on the Third Hill in Istanbul, Turkey. Marble, granite, and porphyry are used extensively on the mosque’s exterior, giving it an exceptionally majestic appearance. Iznik tiles, white marble, ivory, and pearl are used in a very regulated manner in the interior decoration, which is more understated.
