Day 1:
Christchurch
On arrival in Christchurch, ‘The Garden City’, you will be met by our local representative and privately transferred to your hotel.
Day 2:
Christchurch – Dunedin
Today we’ll travel south across the Canterbury Plains to reach Scottish influenced Dunedin, renowned for the local wildlife and Otago University. Enjoy free time here to explore this lovely coastal town.

Day 3:
Dunedin – Queenstown
In the morning we’ll take a sightseeing tour of Dunedon to learn about its rich history. Afterwards we’ll travel west to Queenstown, arriving in the afternoon at the Adventure Capital of the World.

Day 4:
Queenstown – Milford -Queenstown
Today you’ll follow the southern arm of Lake Wakatipu to Lumsden. From here you’ll travel to Lake Te Anau and enter the Eglinton Valley where you’ll travel through the breath taking man made Homer Tunnel to reach Milford Sound. Enjoy a cruise on this world famous fiord, dominated by Mitre Peak and the cascading Bowen Falls. Then you’ll return to Milford Sound. Milford Day Tour Take an unforgettable journey into the heart of Milford Sound. You’ll experience the world famous fiord – rich in dense rainforest, glacier carved valleys and beautiful waterfalls. Journey across the Southern Alps and travel deep into the Homer Tunnel, a 1.2km tunnel drilled through solid rock. Uncover Eglinton Valley, a place of ancient alpine forest and gushing waterfalls, take photos of the stunning Mirror Lakes, then walk across The Chasm. At the deep waters of Milford Sound, board your 1 3/4 hour Southern Discoveries Scenic Cruise. See the wonders of Mitre Peak, glacier-scarred rock walls and waterfalls that tumble through valleys and crash into the sea far below.

Day 5:
Departure from Mauritius
Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the hotel and then check-out. A car will await you for your transfer to the airport. Fly back home with wonderful memories of an amazing trip.
Day 6:
Queenstown – Glacier Region
Travel along the shores of Lakes Wanaka and Hawea we’ll journey through Haast Pass and up the West Coast. Passing by spectacular mountain ranges, native forests and lakes, we’ll enter the glacier region of Franz Josef and Fox Glaciers.

Day 7:
Glacier Region – Christchurch
Today we’ll travel north to Greymouth and board the Tranzalpine train. From here we’ll ascend through lush beech forests past the alpine village of Arthur’s Pass before crossing the spectacular Southern Alps. Afterwards we’ll travel over the Canterbury Plains to reach ‘the garden city’ of Christchurch. TranzAlpine Train Truly one of the world’s great scenic train trips through the dramatic contrast of dry beech forests and tussock land on one side of the Alps and lush green landscapes on the other. From Christchurch, cross the patchwork farmland of the Canterbury plains, follow the Waimakariri river, climbing into alpine scenery on a series of spectacular viaducts. Then, after stopping at Arthur’s Pass, emerge from the long Otira Tunnel and descend through sub tropical rain forest past beautiful Lake Brunner and on to Greymouth. The TranzAlpine operates daily excluding Christmas Day.

Today you’ll be picked up at your accommodation and transfer to the airport
