Day 1:
London

After you are picked up from the airport and delivered to the joining hotel, You will receive information about the start of the circuit in the afternoon. Or, if you arrive later, you may check the informative panels in the hotel reception area.
Day 2:
London
Â
We’ll take a comprehensive tour of London in the morning: Westminster, Houses of Parliament, the City and the Thames. The afternoon is yours to explore this amazing city. You may also opt to join an outing to Windsor to visit the storied town and magnificent Windsor Castle (own expense). In the evening, you will be transferred to Piccadilly for a walk through Leicester Square, China Town and Soho, its theaters and bustling nightlife. There you will have time for dinner before we return to the hotel for the evening.

Day 3:
London – Cambridge – York – Durham
Â
We will depart London toward northern England, stopping en route in Cambridge to admire the fabled residential colleges of Cambridge University. After lunch (own expense), we continue to York, whose cathedral, Roman walls, and lively shopping district are sure to captivate. After free time for a stroll through York, we’ll regroup and continue north, ultimately arriving in Durham, a charming medieval town with a wonderful situated just in front of Durham Castle.

Day 4:
Durham – Alnwick – Edinburgh

En route to Edinburgh, we’ll stop in ALNWICK, a picturesque town with lovely gardens and a big medieval castle where the Harry Potter film was shot. Later we’ll continue to Edinburgh, arriving around noon. Its imposing castle overlooks the city, its steep streets, and its lush parks. Sightseeing tour with a local guide included.

Day 5:
Edinburgh – Urquhart Castle – Loch Ness – Ben Nevis – Glasgow

Our first stop in the morning is a traditional whisky distillery for an included tour and tasting. We’ll pass by Inverness in the north of Scotland, very near the mysterious Loch Ness. After lunch (own expense), we include tickets to enter Urquhart Castle, from where we board a boat taking us across the dark waters of Loch Ness. Afterwards, we will travel to Fort Augustus, and on to Fort William, a tourist center at the foot of Ben Nevis, the highest summit in the United Kingdom. We will return south through the high plateaus, where glimpses of snow are not uncommon, before contouring Loch Lomond, one of the most popular lakes in Scotland. Arrival in Glasgow at the end of the day.

Day 6:
Galway – Cong – Cong Royal Abbey – Clonmacnoise – Dublin

We will depart for Cong, a picturesque village located in a magnificent lake area. We’ll also visit the ruins of the Royal Abbey and walk around Ashford Castle, a gorgeous medieval structure that is now a hotel. We’ll then travel to Clonmacnoise, where, after lunch (own expense), we’ll visit the monastic ruins, admission included. We will resume our journey to Dublin, arriving in the late afternoon.

Day 7:
Dublin
Â
Sightseeing tour of Dublin, IrelandÂ’’s peaceful capital city. We’ll also take a stroll through Trinity College (depending on the sunlight, this visit may take place the day before). The afternoon is your to explore Dublin on your own.

Day 8:
Dublin – Caernarfon – Liverpool
Â
We’ll board a fast ferryboat early in the morning. After a journey of two to three hours, we will arrive in Wales. We’ll visit Caernarfon, a UNESCO World Heritage site by the sea. Time for lunch (own expense) and a stroll. We’ll travel next to Liverpool, where you will have a chance to visit The Beatles Story exhibition (own expense).

Day 9:
Liverpool – Stratford-Upon-Avon – Oxford – London
Â
Departing Liverpool, we’ll drive to Stratford-upon-Avon, Shakespeare’s hometown. Time for lunch (own expense) and a stroll. Afterwards, we’ll visit Oxford, a town synonymous with study and culture. Kings, statesmen, philosophers and scientists have all studied there. We will continue to London, arriving in the late afternoon. End of our services. Check the time of your flight in case you need an additional night.
